Talavera is led by the culinary duo of Chef Evan Goldstein and Executive Chef Mel Mecinas.  Together, they create the contemporary American seasonal menu, including a rotating weekly tasting menu showcasing fresh, inventive flavors. Chef Mecinas is a 13-year veteran chef of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.  Mecinas began his career with Four Seasons at the property in Santa Barbara followed by Los Angeles. A 12-year veteran of Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Chef Goldstein joined Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North in spring 2007 to help spearhead the opening of Talavera restaurant.  Goldstein began his career with Four Seasons Resort Aviara, North San Diego.
